Delivery and optimization of prime editors used in precision genome editing have been hampered by their large size and complexity. The Sontheimer and Xue labs unleash a new method to optimize genome editing by splitting these bulky editing components. This allows for more efficient delivery as well as precise editing in vivo, without pesky byproducts.
