Protein structure and dynamics with biophysical and computational methods

 Research Focus.png

Proteins fold into specific three-dimensional structures and interact with other proteins and ligands. Elucidation of these structures at the atomic level, as well as interactions with other molecules and conformational flexibility, is essential for understanding biological function. Using a synergistic combination of experimental and computational techniques enables fundamental insights into molecular recognition events involving protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions. Our research aims to understand these molecular recognition events for proteins with key roles in viral infections, with a focus on inhibitor binding and drug resistance.
