Ingenuity® Pathway Analysis (IPA®)

IPA

Ingenuity® Pathway Analysis (IPA®) is a powerful analysis and search tool that uncovers the significance of ‘omics data and identifies new targets or candidate biomarkers within the context of biological systems. IPA has broadly been adopted by the life science research community and is cited in thousands of articles for the analysis, integration, and interpretation of data derived from ‘omics experiments, such as RNA-seq, small RNA-seq, microarrays including miRNA and SNP, metabolomics, proteomics, and small scale experiments.

With it’s many features, IPA allows you to quickly understand and visualize your data.

UMass Medical IT Department facilitated a license share program that involved a limited number of seats to be shared concurrently between a single concurrent license. If you missed the opportunity to participate in the 2020 - 2021 licenses, you can contact Byron Deane to participate in the next renewal or to see if there is an open seat for the current license term.  Byron.Deane@umassmed.edu  The cost of a seat in the current term is just under $2,900. Our goal is to keep the costs at $2K per seat or better for each renewal.

******  ATTENTION ******

Current Users: If you are currently participating in the UMMS IPA Concurrent License share program and have an active account, you can schedule your time using the QIAGEN IPA scheduler tool.  Please try and schedule your time in time slots not to exceed 3-hours at a time. To be fair to all of the participants, we are trying to ensure that all participating labs have equal opportunity to access the software. Also, please remember to LOG OUT when done so you don't block the ability for others to log in. Thank you!

Interested parties: The next software agreement renewal is coming in August 2021. If you would like to use IPA and are interested in particpating in the next agreement period, please contact Byron Deane via email: byron.deane@umassmed.edu
